Our Parish was established by Archbishop Albert G. Meyer on May 23, 1955 and was named after St. Margaret Mary Alocoque. Margaret Mary lived from 1647 - 1690 and became a member of the Visitation Sisters at the age of 25 in Paray-le-Monial, France. She experienced four visions of Jesus Christ and because of them, she worked for devotion to Christ in His Sacred Heart, the symbol of His boundless love for His people. She was canonized a saint in 1920 and her feast is celebrated on October 16 .Bio of St. Margaret Mary |

The parish began under the able leadership of Fr. Raymond Vint, who was appointed its first pastor on June 1, 1955. Nearby Divine Savior High School served as a temporary place of worship until the first church was completed in April 1957. The rectory was built in 1958. Soon after, in September 1959 the school opened with five lower grades. That year, the school was staffed by three Sisters of St. Agnes from Fond du Lac and thirteen lay teachers. Three years later, in 1962, the school added the latter three grades and the convent for the increased number of Sisters was completed. On June 17, 1977, the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the first Mass was celebrated in the present church, the focal point of our faith life. The former church was soon converted into the gymnasium, which was named after Fr. Vint. In October 1992 the convent became the Sr. Maureen Courtney Parish Center, which houses some meeting rooms and offices for many of the pastoral staff. | In 2005 the parish celebrated its 50th anniversary. And on the feast day of St. Margaret Mary, October 16, 2005, the Church Hall was dedicated in the name of Fr. Robert G. Father Robert Sampon became pastor in January 1982. On his transfer, Fr. Ralph Gross became the parish's third pastor on June 21, 1994. Both men provided dedicated service and spiritual leadership. Fr. Ralph was transferred on June 20, 2006. He is succeeded by Fr.
