Dear Parishioners of St. Margaret Mary,                                                     May 14, 2020

SUNDAY MASS IS BACK!
We need volunteers, per Mass, to help usher assistance in safe distancing

Greetings St. Margaret Mary Parishioners:

We are planning the reopening of our Church for weekend Masses. Starting Saturday, May 30th.

Our Mass schedule will be Saturday 5:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am, 11:00am, and 7:00pm.

While many eagerly anticipate gathering together for Mass, those with underlying conditions that make them susceptible to the coronavirus (including those over 60 years old) are encouraged to remain safe at home. The obligation to attend Sunday Mass has been dispensed by the Archbishop through Sunday, July 5.

This reopening requires planning and volunteers willing to help with the procedures needed to keep our environment safe for all attending Saturday or Sunday Masses for the foreseeable future. We need people willing to help usher with both coordinating the movement of parishioners coming and going, as well as helping to control the social distancing recommended by the authorities.
This will also require people that will be willing to stay after Mass to clean both the sanctuary and the other touchpoints in and about the building.

In order to communicate all of the specifics and if you are willing to be of help, we will have a short meeting on Saturday, May 23 at 9:30 am in the church. All adults who are able to help in some way are asking to attend (and we ask that you wear masks to this meeting and practice social distancing). If you are unable to attend this meeting but are willing to start helping weekly please contact Cheryl Vosswinkel at 414-444-3552.

We look forward to seeing you in person very soon.

Thank you,

Fr. Pat Nelson, SDS
Pastor

When we cannot physically receive Communion but we can make an

Act of Spiritual Communion.

Act of Spiritual Communion By St. Alphonsus de Liguori:

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.

Since I cannot receive you sacramentally at this moment,

Come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace you as if you were already there And unite myself wholly to you.

Never permit me to be separated from you! Amen
