The parishioners of St. Margaret Mary Parish welcome you to our spirit-filled Catholic Christian community.
St. Margaret Mary Parish Community is committed to developing and sustaining an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and proclaiming the reign of God.
It is our vocation and a privilege to be the arms, feet, eyes, ears and voice of Christ in the world. Joined with our fellow members, we really do make a difference, and our lives are blessed many times over. May we always be one in the Spirit!
Our parish, which was established by Archbishop Albert G. Meyer on May 23, 1955, was named after St. Margaret Mary Alocoque. Margaret Mary lived from 1647-1690. At age 25, she became a member of the Visitation Sisters in Paray-le-Monial, France. During her life she experienced four visions of Jesus Christ. Because of these visions, she worked endlessly to spread devotion to His Sacred Heart – the symbol of His boundless love for His people. St. Margaret Mary was canonized in 1920; her feast day is celebrated on October 16.
